3.13.2005 | Feeling sick but strangely fineposted by Jon15:52 | SAY SOMETHING | Trinity had a "Work Day" yesterday. We divided up into teams and cleaned 8 different yards around Valparaiso. The house I was assigned to needed a ton of raking and a new mailbox. It was actually a lot of fun, and the weather was perfect. Sunny, breezy, atypically dry Florida weather. Toward the end of the job, however, I was feeling pretty queasy, so I spent the latter half of the day at home watching movies and taking care of some business. Donnie Darko, by the way, is a very entertaining, absurd movie with lots of good 80's tunes (a decade full of music that I generally don't like, but this movie had some good ones). I'm still feeling pretty crappy and don't have a lot of energy, but I can't help but feel pretty good otherwise. I'm moving to Cayo Grande Bluewater on April 1, and am looking forward to being able to come home to a clean apartment with no animal smells. I'll be just across the Mid Bay Bridge from Destin, which'll be nice. Also, the Dierks Bentley show on Thursday is coming up, and I am going to Nashville again in July with some great friends. Work is busy but very rewarding, and my Grandma is doing much better. All things considered, life is pretty good right now. |
