Blue Point: one of the best places in Destin to be on a weekend night.

Another such place is KJ's. I was introduced to it (along with comrades Michael and Luke) last Friday night after a long and laborious day of yuletide shopping with my parents. The drinks were reasonable (but not as cheap as Blue Point), the place was small and impossible to find unless you knew where to find it, the music was okay (so-so performance but killer song selection), and the location was sweet, being right on the harbor. The perfect local hangout when you don't want all the crowds.

That's about the most interesting thing that's gone on since I last posted, so you haven't missed much.

Okay, that was corny. I went to Texarkana for 6 days with Chris, Amy, and Britney. We ate Jack In The Box, conducted midnight search and recovery missions looking for a lost cellphone with Texarkana's finest, bought an extra Third Eye Blind CD (can never have too many), made new friends and met old ones, listened to long anecdotes about Direct TV life, gallivanted about Texas, took some PRETTY CRAZY PICTURES (which are not to be shown to anybody), got mauled by a German Shepard, had a guy die directly underneath us, and chilled by an Arkansas lake drinking beer and talking about life until the sun went down and the fire dimmed. Good times.
