10.18.2005 | Need to be doneposted by Jon07:09 | SAY SOMETHING | ![]() This is what my schedule looks like for the next six days. The shed at the church needs to be unloaded to make way for construction, so we're doing that tonight and Thursday night. The Mullet Festival is this weekend, but I don't expect it to be as great as the last few times (not a big Terri Clark fan). I've got two birthdays this weekend to attend also, but only one is listed because I have no idea when the other one will take place. On Monday afternoon when I leave my office for the day, I will be moving as much of my stuff as I can to my new room at my parents' house in Blackman. I'm looking forward to saving the money and having more time with my family, but there are some adjustments that have to be made (not the least of which being all that gas I'll have to buy for my daily commute). My new bedroom has no closet, so I went to Target last week to find a free-standing piece of furniture I could hang clothes on and a pair of flip-flops. The flip-flops were for the shower I will be sharing with my brothers (they are not known for keeping their bathroom clean), but for some reason I couldn't for the life of me remember what they were called. So, when I approached one of Target's "sales partners" (or whatever they call them), I asked where the shower slippers might be found. I have no idea what that girl was thinking, but she had no idea what I was talking about. So after that fleeting moment of embarrassment, it dawned on me that flip-flops would be more than sufficient, and they weren't quite as effeminate-sounding as "shower slippers". Plus they were only $2.99 for a pair. Before Monday, and inbetween the Festival and birthdays and cleaning out Trinity's shed and work and church, I'll finish packing some stuff and throwing away other stuff. It seems like no matter how much I finish, there's a ton more to do. I didn't know I had so much crap. Ah well, it will be over soon. |
