Blue Point: one of the best places in Destin to be on a weekend night.

Another such place is KJ's. I was introduced to it (along with comrades Michael and Luke) last Friday night after a long and laborious day of yuletide shopping with my parents. The drinks were reasonable (but not as cheap as Blue Point), the place was small and impossible to find unless you knew where to find it, the music was okay (so-so performance but killer song selection), and the location was sweet, being right on the harbor. The perfect local hangout when you don't want all the crowds.

That's about the most interesting thing that's gone on since I last posted, so you haven't missed much.
