This is the first in a 10-part series of posts about music that I've recently discovered and have found to be enjoyable. I will try to pick stuff you've probably not heard of before, so that means no Sufjan (the one Sufjan-hater that reads my blog should be pleased).

Floating World is the latest offering from Mount Pleasant, Michigan's Anathallo. It's fresh, catchy, and has a lot of Japanese-folk-story-inspired songs. It's a little weird, but it's not Polyphonic-Spree-weird, it's more like Sigor-Ros-weird. It's easy to listen to.
