Upon hearing my plans to move to Valparaiso (again), this guy told me last week that I move more often than anyone he knows. I can only take him at his word, but this much is true: I have had five separate residences since college. Bluewater Bay, Valparaiso, Bluewater Bay, Blackman, and Crestview. Soon I will be acquiring a sixth.

My plan, however, is to make Valparaiso my last stop. I don't know how long I will be in the duplex, but whatever is after that I would really like to be in Val-P. Who wouldn't want to live in a Vale of Paradise? The benefits for me are plenty. I'll be within walking distance to church and 10 minutes from work. The time I will get back is going to make a huge difference. I will have two extra hours added to my afternoons! Plus, if I can keep away from Destin, my gas spending will drop significantly. I can also eat healthier and save money by having control of my own kitchen.

Cooking's actually one of the things I'm looking forward to the most. I have been away from my parents' home a lot lately, which has meant lots of money eating out. The first thing I am going to do when I move is stock my kitchen well and buy a cookbook.
